Paul G. Delery, 54


East Boston — Paul G. Delery, formerly of Middletown, N.J., entered eternal rest on August 20, 2013. Born in Winchester, Mass., Paul worked in the hotel industry for 30 years, and was most recently co-owner of Bob's Famous Fried Clams in Salem, Mass. He is preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline A. Delery; his father, John F. Delery Sr.; his mother-in-law, Maxine Levy; and his sister-in-law Lisa Langsam. He is survived by his beloved husband, William Levy; three brothers, Thomas Delery and his wife, Cindy, of Woodbridge, Va., and their children, Scott and Andrew, John Delery Jr. and his wife, Judy, of Ridgefield, N.J., Peter Delery of Philadelphia, Pa.; and a sister, Veronica Delery, and her daughter, Natalia, of Kew Gardens, N.Y. He is also survived by his father-in-law, Alvin R. Levy, of Danvers, Mass.; brother-in-law, Alan Levy, his wife, Janet, and their children, Alex and Lauren, his brother-in-law, Joel Langsam and his daughters, Emily and Amy Langsam; and also his cherished canines, Mabel and Reggie.

An avid theater lover, Paul performed in and helped stage numerous community productions.

In addition to countless random kindnesses, his public philanthropic interests included the Northeast ARC.
