Amesbury — It is with loving memories that the family of Ruth Elizabeth (McLeod) Walsh Banks announces her passing on Thursday, November 28, 2013, at Maplewood Center, Amesbury, Mass. Ruth was born in Salem, Mass., on October 19, 1916, to the late Harry G. and Emily (Mansell)McLeod.
Ruth graduated from Salem High School in 1933. She was then employed by Webber's Department Store in Salem. Following her marriage to M. After the death of her husband, she was employed in several area businesses as an office worker. She retired from Varian Associates in Beverly in 1981 as a TWIX operator.
