Janet J. Tanzella, 79


Beverly, MA — Janet J. Tanzella, 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning at Penacook Place in Haverhill. Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late Hector and Rita (Tremblay) Beaulieu.

Janet was raised and educated in Beverly, graduating from Beverly High School. She was a crossing guard for the City of Beverly for many years, and retired from the Twin Oaks/Harborside Health Nursing Home after 22 years of service as a CNA. After retirement, she moved to North Conway, N.H., to be near the White Mountains and the North Conway Depot. She enjoyed embroidery and was an avid crafter for many years.

She is survived by five children, John Tanzella and wife, Maureen, of Beverly, Kenneth Tanzella and wife, Wendy, of Wilmington, Thomas Tanzella and wife, Linda, of Amesbury, Nancy Tanzella of Merrimac, and Daniel Tanzella and wife, Sarah, of Hamilton; her 11 grandchildren, Hollie, Rebecca, Jessica and John Tanzella, Daniel and Victoria Tanzella, Mark and Michael Tanzella, Robert Noyes II, Linzy Lynch, and Stephanie Tanzella; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Beaulieu and wife, Janice, of North Carolina, and Raymond Beaulieu and wife, Jeannie, of Salem, Mass.; and her sister-in-law, Conchi Beaulieu of Ft. Worth, Texas. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Beaulieu of Ft. Worth; and her son-in-law, Robert Noyes of Danvers.

ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday Sept. 24, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the E.V. Jutras & Sons Funeral Home, 118 Friend Street, Amesbury, to be followed by a tribute at 6:30 p.m.
