Salem, MA — Marie (Noguiera) Reardon, 94, formerly of Dearborn Street, Salem, died on Monday evening, October 7, 2013, at Life Care Center of the North Shore, following a long illness. Born, raised and educated in Peabody, she worked in the local leather shops, where she met her late husband, Warren. They later moved to Dearborn Street, where they raised their family. Mrs. Reardon worked for several years at EG&G, and later at JJ Newbury’s Department Store at the North Shore Mall. Most of all, she was dedicated to her family and home.
Mrs. Reardon is survived by four children, Charles and his wife, Elaine Reardon of Salem, John and his wife, Donna Reardon of Georgetown, Elizabeth Reardon of Lynn, and Neil and his wife, Mary Reardon of Salem; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held on Saturday, October 12, at 10:15 a.m., from the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal Street, corner of North Street, Salem, to be followed by a funeral Mass, at 11 a.m., at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 290 North Street, Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be prior to the funeral, on Saturday morning, from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
