Beverly — Jacqueline M. (Taylor) Lang, 74, of Beverly, and formerly of Salem, died on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, at her home in Beverly, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Beverly, Jackie was the daughter of the late Charles and Lillian (Thibault) Taylor. She was raised and educated in Beverly. A longtime Beverly resident, Jackie worked for 27 years with EG&G/Perkin Elmer Optoelectronics in Salem, before retiring in 2000. She was very active with the Wednesday Quilting group at the Beverly Senior Center, as well as with her company bowling league. Jacqueline was known for being a sweet person, and a little bit of a country girl, who enjoyed baking. She loved to laugh, and have her hands in the dirt tending to her flower garden.

She is survived by her son, Charles J. Lang and his wife, Wendy Snow-Lang of Salem; and a niece and a nephew. Jackie was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Taylor, who died in 2003; and her beloved dog, Annie.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be held at the Campbell-Lee, Moody Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, North Beverly, on Wednesday, October 16, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours are on Tuesday, from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
