Nathan Gans


Peabody — Nathan Gans entered into rest October 20, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Libby “Elaine” (Barber) Gans. Raised in Dorchester, he was the son of the late Louis and Ida (Federman) Gans. He graduated from the Franklin Institute and worked as a machinist. He was the devoted father of Michael Gans and his wife, Linda (Hylander), and William Gans and Ronald Hunter and his wife, Debra. He was the loving grandfather of Jaclyn Gans, Joshua Gans and his fiancé, Jamie, Jaidan, Aubree, Brandon and Caleb Hunter; and step-grandfather of Stephanie. He adored his great-granddaughter, Grace Gans-Linnane. He was the loving brother of Martha Gans and the late Burton and Dr. Jack Gans.

ARRANGEMENTS: Graveside services will be held at on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the City of Boston Lodge Cemetery on B Street in Woburn. Friends and family are invited to gather immediately following interment at his late residence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Congregation Tifereth Israel, 8 Pierpont Street, Peabody, MA 01960.
