Salem — Gloria Marie (Dion) Brandt, 60, of Sanibel Island, Florida, passed away unexpectedly at her home Tuesday evening. Born in Salem, Gloria was the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Poisson) Dion. She lived in Salem most of her life before living in Newburyport for a few years and then the remainder of her life on Sanibel Island. She loved connecting, being with others, and sharing conversation. She also enjoyed her church in Florida very much. Gloria loved to garden and cook and especially loved spending time with her family. She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed by her many friends and family.
Gloria is survived by a daughter, Lisa Beaulieu and her husband, Stephen, of Merrimac, MA; a son, Michael Pelletier and his wife, Jill, of Beverly, MA; five grandchildren, Ben, Matthew, and Michael Beaulieu, and Grace and Seth Pelletier; three siblings, Paul Dion and his wife, Mary, of Danvers, Patricia Dion of Hamilton, and Carolyn Dutton and her husband, Richard, of Oxford, England; and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in the Berube & Sons Funeral Home, 191 Lafayette St., Salem (Route 1A/114) on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. Her funeral Mass will be Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. in Ste.
