Peabody — Pearl M. (Gagnon) Langlais, 87, beloved wife of the late Robert Langlais, died peacefully early Sunday morning, October 27, 2013, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a brief illness.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late George and Annie (Thompson) Gagnon. She grew up in Salem where she attended schools.
Mrs. Langlais worked as a Leather Seasoner for A.C. Lawrence Leather Company in Peabody for 31 years before her retirement.
Pearl enjoyed gardening, and was active at the Peabody Senior Center and Torigian Community Life Center. She had a carefree and independent spirit, as she was one who lived life uniquely her way.
She grew up with three siblings including George Gagnon of Salem, Marian Paulson of Milwaukee, WI, Rosemary Besson in Dallas, TX and Melody Avarian in Los Angeles, CA.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Friday, November 1, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
