HAMILTON — Susan D. (Dolben) Paglierani, 66, beloved wife of Robert Paglierani, with whom she shared 44 years of marriage, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family, after a hard-fought three-year battle with brain cancer. Born in Boston, she is the daughter of the late William H. and Janet (Cole) Dolben.
Sue grew up in Reading and was a graduate of Reading High School. She then attended Bouve College of Health Sciences at Tufts University and Northeastern University. For many years, Sue was employed as a physical therapist in geriatrics and home care. Sue enjoyed tennis, hiking, golf, bridge, biking, quilting and cross stitch. She was also a talented skier and ski instructor at Attitash Mountain for 20 years. Sue especially loved traveling with her husband, family, and friends, and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Mark Paglierani and his wife Jennifer of Topsfield; one daughter, Lynne Martocci and her husband Michael of Guilford, Conn.; one brother, Hank Dolben and his wife Connie of Rye, N.H.; six grandchildren, Cecily, Willa and Ada Paglierani of Topsfield, Amanda Moore of Branford, Conn., and Charlotte and Samuel Martocci of Guilford, Conn.; and mother-in-law Rose M. Moriarty of Waltham and her late husband Bruno W. Paglierani.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Paul, 50 Union Street, Hamilton, on Saturday, November 10, at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the Campbell-Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly (North Beverly Location), on Friday, November 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Hamilton Cemetery.
