Andrew "Andy" W. Hafetz, 47


Lynn — Mr. Andrew (“Andy”) M. Hafetz died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 2, 2012. He was 47 years of age. He is the beloved husband of Chelsea Christian Hafetz and adored father of Virginia, of Lynn. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa., son of Harvey and Zena (Kozloff) Hafetz of Reading, Pa., and Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. He was son-in-law to George and Judy (O’Connor) Christian of Lynn.

Andy was raised in Reading, Pa., and was a graduate of the George School. He also attended Ithaca College and the Philadelphia University of Textiles and Science. He lived in Dallas, Texas, Boynton Beach & Delray Beach, Fla., Danvers, and most recently, Lynn.

Andy was a gifted personal trainer who changed the lives of his numerous clients. He owned a successful personal training business, and most recently was a Fitness Trainer at Get in Shape for Women in Danvers. A lifelong athlete, Andy was a county skateboard champion, competitive swimmer, expert skier, and avid body builder. He was passionate about family, health and fitness, fast cars and motorcycles. Andy made a lasting impact in the lives of everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Chelsea, and their daughter, Virginia; as well as his parents, Harvey and Zena; father and step-mother-in-law, George and Judy Christian; his sister, Jill and her husband Dr. Larry Keller, and their children, Max and Sarah, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at 1 p.m. in the Solimine, Landergan and Richardson Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Rte 129), Lynn. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
