Lynn, MA — Mrs. Jeannette Anne (Titus) Grey, age 82, of Lynn, died on Monday, October 8, 2012, at the Devereaux House, Marblehead, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Wayne Grey, with whom she shared 45 years of marriage.
Born and raised in Salem, Jeannette was the daughter of the late Albert and Yvonne (Gagnon) Titus. She had lived in Swampscott for 20 years, before moving to Lynn in 1990.
Jeannette was a wonderful mother who loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to take walks along the beach and was known for her “famous fried chicken.”
In addition to her husband, Jeannette is survived by 5 children James Moffett, of Newmarket, NH, Norman Moffett, of Woodbridge, VA, Wayne Grey Jr., of Missouri, Diana Moffett Wells, of Marblehead, and Tracey (Grey) Nyman, of Beverly, a brother John Titus, of Peabody, 3 sisters Mary Sylvester, of Beverly, Myrna Decowski, of Beverly, and Alberta Cloutier, of Danvers, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late John Moffett, and Yvonne Kincade, and the sister of the late Marsha Michaud, and Lillian Kuc.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her Funeral will be held on Friday at 10:30am in the First Lutheran Church, 280 Broadway, Lynn. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
