Ipswich — Thelma A. (Arrington) (Vose) Dionne, 85, wife of the late George L. Dionne, died late Saturday night, November 24, 2012, at a family residence after a long illness. Born in Wichita, Kan., on December 16, 1926, she was the daughter of the late William and Mattie J. (Walker) Arrington.
Mrs. Dionne was a long-time resident of Ipswich. She loved being outdoors and in her yard. Mrs. Dionne loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was an important part of their lives. She was predeceased by her husband, George, on October 24, 1983 and was also predeceased by her first husband, Donald W. Vose, on May 20, 1963.
Mrs. Dionne is survived by her three children and their spouses, Charles D. and Louise Vose of Ipswich, Stephen D. and Kathy Vose of Walpole, Rebecca A. and Paul Gongas of Ipswich. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Michele Leone and Jennifer Charos, Brandy Schlesinger, Shana Paquette and Stephen Vose, Jr., Michael Tersolo, Kaitlyn Tersolo and Erik Gongas. In addition are her ten great-grandchildren, Kelly Pechilis, Hailey Charos and Ryan Leone, Logan Schlesinger, Jacob Paquette, Emma Paquette and Ella Paquette, Eric Frissora, Megan Richardson and Katherine Richardson. Mrs. Dionne was also predeceased by her four brothers and three sisters.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be held Thursday, November 29, at 9 a.m., in the Morris Funeral Home, 45 North Main Street, Ipswich. Burial will be in the Cowles Memorial Cemetery, 29 Town Farm Road, Ipswich. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, November 28, from 5 to 8 p.m., in the funeral home, relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
