Beverly — Paul D. Henderson, a lifelong resident of Beverly, passed away suddenly on Sunday. Paul worked for many years at AP Vending in Rowley and before that at Axcelis Technologies in Beverly. He was an active member of the Union Club in Beverly for many years.
Paul loved the city of Beverly and considered himself a proud Ryal Sider even though he had not lived in Ryal Side for many years. Paul loved taking nature walks. In the days before his passing he walked Devereaux Beach and the Rail Trail, both were special places for him. He was a big sports fan and especially liked the Red Sox and Nascar. Paul was a huge music fan and his favorite group was the Beatles. Paul got his most enjoyment from helping others.
Paul leaves behind his beloved partner, Susan Ball, whom he lived with for many years. He was the son of and predeceased by his mother and father Jacquelyn and Oliver Henderson. He leaves behind Susan’s parents, Dorothy and Frank Ball of Salem to whom he was like a son.
Paul’s family meant the world to him. He leaves behind his sister, Lynne Morin of Hamilton, Sharon Trudel of Texas, Susan Barnes of Beverly and Lori Oren of Statesboro, Ga. He also leaves behind two brothers, Charles of Hamilton and Scott of Beverly. Paul was also predeceased by his brother Dwight. He leaves his uncle, Donald Shipp of Maine and his uncle, Edward and aunt, Sheila Shipp of Maine. He leaves his aunt, Barbara Henderson of Beverly. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins all of whom he adored. He leaves behind many people who called Paul a friend. He will be missed by many.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 29, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Campbell-Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 9 Dane St., Beverly (Downtown location).
