Michael J. Harvill, 65


South Hamilton — Michael J. Harvill, 65, beloved husband of Colleen A. (Sullivan) Harvill, died unexpectedly in the Beverly Hospital Saturday night December 8, 2012. Born in Bakersfield, CA, on December 10, 1946, he was the son of the late Joe and Grace (Howard) Harvill.

Mr. Harvill was a graduate of Wasco High School in California and later he was a graduate of Fresno State University. He served in the Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Harvill had been employed for over 30 years in the U.S. Department of Labor beginning his career in San Francisco. He would retire from the Boston office of the Department of Labor. He was an avid sports fan and loved doing puzzles of all sorts.

Mr. Harvill is survived by, in addition to his beloved wife Colleen of South Hamilton, his brother and sister-in-law, John and Jean Harvill of Folsom, LA, also 13 nieces and nephews, two brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law and their spouses as well as many dear friends.
