Barrington, NH — Rose M. Fernandez, 87, of Barrington died Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehab in Dover.
Rose was born in Everett, MA, May 23, 1925, the only child of Mary Crowley and Francis O’Neill. Rose formerly lived in Middleton, MA, Danvers, MA and Everett, MA.
She worked for the aircraft division of General Electric in Lynn, MA. She was a member of the Middleton Historical Society and sang in St. Agnes Church choir.
Even though Rose lost her ability to speak words, she got her point across with inflections of sound and hand gestures, of a raised fist.
Predeceased by her ex-husband Juan Fernandez, she is survived by her daughter, Eileen of Barrington, NH; son, John and his wife Barbara; and granddaughter, Maria of Hampstead, NH. She will be missed by her special friend Deb Palmer.
ARRANGEMENTS: Friends are invited to call Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., Dover. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., Saturday at St. Agnes Church, 22 Boston St., Middleton, MA. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery, Middleton.
