Ipswich — Charlotte A. (Dow) Paquin, 81, of Ipswich, wife of Edward F. Paquin, died peacefully November 24, 2012, in the Beverly Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Born in Ipswich on April 27, 1931, daughter of the late Mervell G. and Marguerite (Mullen) Dow, she was a 1949 graduate of Ipswich High School. She married Edward F. Paquin in 1951, her best friend and love of her life. Together they raised seven children.
Charlotte worked in sales at Hills in Ipswich for many years. She was a member of the First Church of Ipswich where she loved to sing and spent time helping with child care. She was also member of TOPS and a swim club. Charlotte also was a den mother for many years. She will be remembered for her heart full of love for her family and friends.
In addition to her husband of 61 years, she is survived by six sons, Edward Paquin of Ipswich, Kevin Paquin and his wife, Sheryl of Rowley, Donald Paquin and his wife, Patricia of Ipswich, Brian Paquin and his wife, Pamela of Ipswich, Mark Lord-Paquin and his wife Holly, of Raymond, N.H. and Timothy Paquin and his wife, Ellen of Ariz.; one daughter, Cheryl Ham and her husband, David of Medway, Maine; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Blanchard of Wenham and Marilyn Franklin of Manchester, and many nephews and nieces. She was the sister of the late Richard Dow of Ipswich and Sandra Rutherford of Pennsylvania.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 29, in the First Church of Ipswich, Meetinghouse Green, Ipswich. Family and friends are respectfully welcomed. A private interment will follow.
