Sandown, NH — Elizabeth T. (Spurio) D’Ambrosio, 89, of Sandown, NH, and former longtime Peabody resident died Thursday evening, Dec. 13, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill.
She was born in Somerville, November 11, 1923, daughter of the late Henry and Maria (Voldolini) Spury and was educated there.
Prior to moving to Sandown five years ago, Mrs. D’Ambrosio lived in Peabody for over 50 years. While in Peabody she was a parishioner of St. Adelaide Church and was also a Cub Scout Den Mother for many years.
Her survivors include her husband of 66 years, Peter A. D’Ambrosio of Sandown, NH, two sons, Bruce P. D’Ambrosio of Los Angeles, CA, and Brian D. D’Ambrosio of Brentwood, NH, a sister, Eva Risotti of Marlborough, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. D’Ambrosio was also the sister of the late Eleanor Sarno, and Ernesto, Emilio, Enzio, Evo Spurio, Enio Spury and Louie Spury.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral on Tuesday morning, Dec. 18, at 9 from the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 in St. Anne Church, Emerson Ave., Hampstead, NH. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
