BEVERLY — Jennie L. (Arena) DeSantis, 93, beloved wife of the late Jack DeSantis, died Tuesday, February 19, at Beverly Hospital. Born in Beverly, she is the daughter of the late Antonio and Santa Arena.

Jennie grew up in Beverly and was a graduate of Beverly High School. She was a devoted wife and loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by one son: John DeSantis and his wife Janis of Virginia Beach, VA; one sister: Mary Hazard of Beverly; five grandchildren: Mark, David, Amy, Derek and Tracie; seven grandchildren: Dakota, Dominique, Abigail, Tess, Anna, Emily and Joey. She was preceded in death by her two sisters: Josephine Aucone and Helen Costello.

ARRANGEMENTS: A Graveside Service will be held at Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Brimbal Ave., Beverly, on Monday at 11 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in Jennie’s Memory to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave, Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451.
