Beverly — Barbara H. Moser, age 95 of Beverly, died on Thurs. Feb 28, 2013, at the Essex Park Nursing Home in Beverly. Barbara was the wife of the late Fred S. Moser. She was born to Leroy P. Henderson (for which the airport road is named) and Rita Streamburg Henderson in Beverly on July 6, 1917, and remained a lifelong resident, graduating from Beverly High School. Barbara was an active member of the Second Congregational Church.
She worked for many years at Edie’s Lunch in North Beverly and Firehouse Antiques in Wenham well into her eighties. Barbara enjoyed trips to the White Mountains of New Hampshire and band concerts at Lynch Park and the Salem Willows. She was extremely fond of animals and doted over the many cats and dogs she owned over the years. She was predeceased by sisters Louise Hansbury, Ruth Andrews, Betty Allen and brother, Leroy Henderson.
She leaves behind two sons, Fred S. Moser Jr., and Robert M. Moser and his wife Mary Wernig-Moser; Grandchildren Robert M. Moser, Jr., Daniel J. Moser, Jessica K. Toomey, Courtney E. Wernig, Dylan R. Ovesen, Jonathan C. Ovesen, Miranda A. Ovesen, Dylan H. Moser and great-grandson Owen M. Moser as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 5th, at 11am in the Second Congregational Church, 35 Conant Street, Beverly. Relatives and friends invited and may visit with her family prior to the service from 9:30AM to 10:30AM in the Campbell-Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 9 DANE STREET (Downtown Beverly).
