BEVERLY — Dorothy R. Emeney, 80, beloved wife of the late Douglas Emeney, passed away Sunday, March 3, at Essex Park Nursing and Rehab Center in Beverly. Born in Salem, she is the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Stella (Mazurkiewicz) Soucy.
Dorothy lived most of her life in Beverly and was a graduate of Beverly High School, Class of 1947. For many years, she worked at the front desk for Garden City Pediatrics. Dorothy enjoyed music and ceramics. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and will truly be missed.
She is survived by one son Douglas Emeney of Beverly; one daughter Deborah Monaco and her husband Daniel of Beverly; one granddaughter Hannah Monaco of Beverly and many dear friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be held at the Campbell-Lee, Moody Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly (North Beverly Location), on Thursday at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Hamilton Cemetery immediately following the service.
