Letter: Thank you, Salem voters

To the editor:

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the people of Salem for electing me to be councilor at large on our City Council.

Over the past four months, while knocking on doors across the city, I have met so many remarkable people who took the time to share with me their opinions, their concerns and hopes for our city. As your councilor at large, I will remember our conversations and work tirelessly to serve you. I heard your message loud and clear. You want positive change and a cooperative effort on the council, and that is what I intend to bring to City Hall on your behalf.

While I will not be knocking on your doors in the near future, I look forward to keeping in touch with you in the months ahead. I hope to see old friends and continue to meet new friends throughout the city. Salem has a bright future, and I am excited for the opportunity to be part of it with all of you. We are, indeed, all in this together!
