Letter: Sinatra night a success

To the editor:

I wanted to thank the BellaMia restaurant in downtown Beverly, and owner Michael LaVita and his staff, for hosting a delightful evening of Frank Sinatra songs on Oct. 17. The sold-out show was a smash success, as the attendees were dressed to the nines as they danced and listened to “Sinatra” as performed by the stylings of Michael Dutra (www.strictlysinatranow.com).

The staff and hospitality at BellaMia’s couldn’t have been better. We not only enjoyed songs of Sinatra, but were treated to a delicious three-course meal.

Proceeds from the evening will help fund two projects. One being Eleanore’s Project (www.eleanoresproject.org), a program that operates a wheelchair clinic in Peru with additional training for caregivers. The other is the award-winning Beverly High School music department.

The Beverly Rotary Club is proud to support these organizations and the great work and music they provide. Plus, a special thanks again to BellaMia for hosting this one-night-only event.
