Letter: Almost missing Manny

To the editor:

I was in Manny Ramirez' corner as long as he played productive baseball.

I was very aware of his selfishness and his love for himself. He let his teammates down constantly, most times without so much as a mea culpa.

Antics such as these are hard to forgive and forget.

I must admit, though, he gave me many entertaining hours and I had such fun defending his bizarre actions. But he certainly had gone to the extreme. I'm truly sorry to say I am switching my allegiance elsewhere (as yet undecided).

Now I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Like maybe the Patriots trading away Tom Brady?
