Letter: Grateful for the help that made Santa’s visit possible

To the editor:

On behalf of the Beverly Harbormaster Department, I would like to thank all those who participated in Santa’s arrival by lobster boat to the Beverly Harbor Center on Saturday, Dec. 14. I would particularly like to thank Edith Serpa of the Elliot Street Dunkin’ Donuts, Janice Preston of Casa De Moda Gifts, Stop & Shop, Sterling and Swift Limousine Service, and Robert Cook of Little Italy Pizza. I would like to extend a very special thank-you to Captain Mike Malewicki of the F/V Janie M., Captain Dana Rowand of the F/V Red Devil (Rowands Fish Market), Keith Schold of the F/V Riley Too and, finally, Captain Larry Tamilio and the Tamilio family. This event would not be possible without the contributions from these individuals and local businesses. This event continues to support local fishing families and the waterfront community each year. Your time and support are greatly appreciated.

Thank you again for all your continued support, and best wishes during the holiday season!

Mark Souza
