Salem State should take over Pioneer Village

To the editor:

In response to your editorial “Our view: Pioneer Village at a crossroads, again” (Friday, May 31) regarding possibly closing Pioneer Village.

Gordon College is not a Salem institution; Salem State University is.

Salem State receives quite a substantial tax break.

Why then doesn’t Salem State take over the management and upkeep of Pioneer Village? They are also located in a convenient location to do so.
