Letter: Anderson is no longer credible

To the editor:

What meager credibility that I have allowed Barbara Anderson over the many years of reading her columns has finally washed out to sea off her beloved Marblehead Harbor.

Her column on May 1, titled “The zenith of absurdity,” offered the observation that “Our president implored us not to ‘jump to conclusions’ (regarding who the bombers were at the Boston Marathon) and thus end up stereotyping his favorite faith.”

What a divisive, inappropriate, hateful remark, the purpose of which is to remind us that the president’s father was Muslim.
