Letter: Impressed by support for Wenham Museum

To the editor:

On behalf of the Board of Trustees of the Wenham Museum, I would like to thank the community for its tremendous support of the museum’s 90th Birthday Gala. This event was a wonderful evening that celebrated nearly a century of community support for the Wenham Museum.

The 90th Birthday Gala generated unprecedented levels of corporate and individual sponsorship to support the mission of the Wenham Museum. Without the philanthropic commitment of this community, the Wenham Museum could not live its values to celebrate childhood, connect generations, and honor heritage. This outpouring of philanthropy is a testament to the value that this community places on family, its cultural resources, and its heritage.

In particular, the Wenham Museum would like to thank the lead sponsor for this event, Institution for Savings, as well as the following corporate and supporting sponsors: The Advancement Counsel, Inc., Anna Jacques Hospital, Beverly Cooperative Bank, Boston Private Bank & Trust, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Beverly Office, Custodial Partners, LLC, Endicott College, Leslie S. Ray Insurance Agency, Inc., Lyon-Waugh Auto Group, People’s United Bank, Salem Five Charitable Foundation, Summit Partners, Tonneson & Company CPAs, and Winfrey’s Fudge.

The Wenham Museum would also like to thank Willa Worsfold and Kennon Anderson, Trustees, for their tremendous effort in coordinating this event, as well as so many members, visitors, and friends who attended and made the event the celebration that it was.
