Letter: Harrison a sound choice for Wenham

To the editor:

We were beyond delighted to learn that Catherine Harrison is running for the position of selectman in the town of Wenham. Catherine is that rare combination of a big-picture thinker and an incredibly meticulous researcher who strives to gather all relevant information before formulating an opinion and/or recommendation. She is a candidate with vision, creativity and foresight, as well as a person who pays attention to the smallest details and who prides herself on accuracy and accountability. Whether you are a senior citizen, a family with young children, an empty-nester, a business owner, or any other constituent, Catherine is always open to hearing your opinions and to meeting your needs.

We have always appreciated Catherine’s reasoned approach, her willingness to listen to all stakeholders, her calm and compassionate manner, and her brilliance at sorting out the pros and cons of controversial issues.

Catherine is an experienced contributor to our two towns. She has served on the School Committee and the Finance Committee. It was no accident that she was elected to leadership roles on both committees. When she was a participant in our town government, we could be confident that our ship was on a steady course. It is time to bring her back on board. Please consider casting your vote for this talented, bright and selfless public servant.
