Letter: Praise for Salem's truant officer

To the editor:

I am writing to credit our city’s truant officer. Catherine Connelly works with students, families, the court system and our schools to ensure proper school attendance and resources. Each situation is unique, and it is uniqueness that describes Connelly’s characteristics: compassionate, selfless, and a truly caring advocate.
