Letter: Santa's boat arrival a success

To the editor:

On behalf of the Beverly Harbormaster Department, I would like to thank all those who participated in Santa’s arrival by lobster boat to the Beverly Harbor Center on Saturday, Dec. 15. I would particularly like to thank Edith Serpa of the Elliott Street Dunkin’ Donuts, Janice Preston of Casa De Moda Gifts, Stop & Shop, Sterling and Swift Limousine Service and Shaw’s. I would like to extend a very special thank you to Capt. Mike Malewicki of the fishing vessel Janie M., Capt. Dana Rowand of the fishing vessel Red Devil, and finally Capt. Larry Tamilio and the Tamilio family. This event would not be possible without the contributions from these individuals and local businesses. This event continues to support local fishing families and the waterfront community each year. Your time and support is greatly appreciated.

Thank you again for all your continued support and best wishes during the holiday season!

Mark Souza
