Letter: McNulty-Cesa has experience, passion

The Salem News

---- — To the editor:

I could not let this election pass without expressing my support for Annemarie McNulty-Cesa as the candidate for the position of Beverly Ward 5 School Committee representative. I have known Annemarie for 25 years, as a fellow teacher, member of numerous PTOs and site councils, as my child’s teacher and as a close personal friend.

The citizens of Beverly have been fortunate to have Annemarie on the School Committee for the past 10 years. Annemarie’s devotion, dedication and experience in the field of education make her the ideal candidate. She spends countless hours familiarizing herself with the content that will be presented at each committee meeting and subcommittee meeting. The knowledge she brings as a current educator, as well as an involved parent for her children as they went through the Beverly Public School system, is invaluable and cannot be matched.

Additionally, Annemarie is present at the PTO meetings of the schools she represents, listening to her constituents’ concerns. She is accessible and open to hearing from all citizens. Annemarie can be relied upon to put the needs of Beverly’s students first as she casts her votes on all issues.

I strongly encourage all residents of Ward 5 to join me in voting for Annemarie McNulty-Cesa. The children of Beverly need and deserve her experience, dedication and passion.
