Letter: Debate was disrupted

To the editor:

Your newspaper reported on a program hosted by the Hamilton Council on Aging (“Pool, Pirie property top topics at debate,” April 3). It was supposed to be a debate on issues by Jeff Hubbard and Shawn Farrell. The seniors were invited to ask questions of the debaters. However, it was rudely interrupted by Jennifer Scuteri, screaming her comments at Jeff Hubbard. It was, I felt, very inappropriate in such a setting. Selectmen were not invited to question Jeff Hubbard and Shawn Farrell. This was strictly a senior program for the senior comments only.

If this is how she conducts herself at selectmen’s meetings, I can see how that job is made very difficult for all the selectmen.
