Letter: Grateful for Memorial Day parade

To the editor:

On behalf of the Danvers Veterans Council, I express thanks to all participants in the Danvers Memorial Day parade and the program at the Town Hall. Also, thank you to all the spectators along the parade route for their welcoming presence for our veterans and other participating groups. It was a glorious day to express the theme of Memorial Day — of remembering those who have given their lives for us and this wonderful nation and honoring all other veterans who have served.

Bruce P. Eaton, President,

Danvers Veterans Council
