It’s happening again in Beverly: Another school superintendent is preparing to jump ship. This certainly won’t be the first time. The straying superintendents, searching for greener pastures, switch jobs the way Liz Taylor switched husbands.
Meanwhile, our schoolchildren are expected to learn the fundamentals: reading, writing and arithmetic. Unfortunately, those at the helm have forgotten one of life’s basic values: loyalty.
