Letter: Lady, I almost killed you

To the editor:

You were trotting across Bridge Street near the Salem T station, at 6 a.m., totally dark, at a dark part of the street, not at a crosswalk, not watching traffic, wearing dark clothing.

If I had not seen your white socks and slowed my car, I could have been in a lot of trouble.

You could have been dead.
