Letter: Businesses boosted senior center

To the editor:

The Friends of the Swampscott Senior Center would like to publicly thank three of our local business owners for their support of the Swampscott Senior Center. Matt Leahy of Leahy Landscaping has beautifully assisted with planting our lovely perennial gardens. Nick Meninno of Meninno Construction and Bruce Paradise of Paradise Construction have planned and built a wonderful new bocce court for all to enjoy. Swampscott is fortunate to have such fine people willing to give back to their community. The senior center, in particular, is delighted to be the beneficiary of their good deeds. Thank you gentlemen, from the bottom of our hearts.
