Letter: Cahill a proven asset for Beverly

To the editor:

We are writing to express our support for Michael Cahill for mayor of Beverly. We have known Mike for many years and know him to be dedicated to providing the very best community service supporting the advancement of opportunities for all its citizenry including both residents and businesses. He has served the city most ably as Beverly’s state representative and as an at-large city councilor. These positions have given him the knowledge and experience necessary to provide the city with capable, effective leadership as mayor.

Mike’s deep roots in Beverly, his thoughtful approach to each issue, and his ability to work with many different people to achieve results will provide Beverly with continuity yet, at the same time, bring in a fresh perspective on new and developing problems as they occur.

We are confident that the election of Mike Cahill will provide Beverly with strong, focused leadership with great integrity.

Neiland and Priscilla Douglas
