Letter: The Affordable Care Act is law -- move on

To the editor:

Enough already! The Affordable Care Act is law. The Supreme Court has upheld it. Move on. Once we were the ideal of democratic government. Now you are making us the laughing stock of the world. This country has a long list of issues and problems that need attention.

We do not need more posturing and spinning. Obstructionism is not either leadership or fulfilling the legislative role. Constantly playing political games with the “full faith and credit of the United States” is like Russian roulette.

Sooner or later you are bound to do irretrievable damage to this country. You are not simply responsible to your district; you are responsible to the nation as a whole.
