Letter: Salem at its best

Whether it is the Fourth of July or the monthlong Haunted Happenings celebrations, families know that Salem is the place to go to have a safe environment to enjoy the history and fun that this city has to offer. Mayor Kim Driscoll, police Chief Paul Tucker, Capt. Brian Gilligan and Director Kate Fox and all the volunteers have all done a great job this year to bringing back that original founding premise to create that safe family event. They even solved the traffic problems!

As Bob Norton stated in his letter to the editor: “Kudos.” They belong to all the above mentioned. Thank you, Mayor, great job!
