Letter: More praise for Salem school workers

To the editor:

A few weeks ago, a letter I wrote was published in the paper praising those who make our school system what it was, what it is and what it can become.

My thanks are also with those unspoken souls who without them, too, our children would not be a product of what the Salem school system was, what it is and what it can become: the business office; the volunteers who are not only parents but are also from the community; those who work with families and their children to keep them in school, including the court, truant officer, the system and its officers; the cafeteria workers who provide meals to keep our kids strong and healthy; and both the bus monitors and the bus drivers who tirelessly transport our students to and from school, after-school programs and events whether it be sunny, rainy, sleeting or snowing outside.

Because once again, my praise and my thanks from all of us to all for your efforts to make our kids what they were, what they are and what they can become.
