Letter: Tragedy in Florida

To the editor:

I am saddened by the murder of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Sanford, Fla. — shot down by a gun-happy thug.

I think the shooter, George Zimmerman, was just dying for a chance to use his gun. He said it was self-defense. Was he afraid Martin would throw his bag of Skittles at him?

What a travesty!
