Letter: Denigrating the other side

To the editor:

In the Nov. 10 issue of The Salem News, Brendan Walsh’s letter celebrates the victories of President Barack Obama, Sen.-elect Elizabeth Warren and Congressman John Tierney. He also states that the campaigns of those who were defeated were “milky white, jingoistic, homophobic (and) pessimistic.”

Doesn’t he realize that he is practicing the very hate that continues to be so divisive? America deserves better.
