Letter: Oppose Patrick's tax increases

To the editor:

Our Democratic governor, Deval Patrick, has set forth a plan to raise gas taxes, raise the income tax rate, and get rid of deductions such as day care and tuition interest, which will hammer middle-class families. Citizens need to write to their local senator and state representative and ask him or her if they are with us or with Deval. These politicians work for us, not for this governor.

If our legislators vote for Patrick’s increases, Massachusetts families will feel the crush of that hammer on their paychecks. Start writing by email or by the old-fashioned way, by letters. Let’s hammer Deval Patrick’s tax increases out the door.
