To the editor:
SeniorCare Inc. would like to publicly thank the sponsors and guests who made our fourth annual Sunset Boat Cruise such a success.
Whenever programs that benefit others are underfunded, agencies must raise funds, and those who respond and participate, even if they are simultaneously having a great time, are helping their neighbors enormously. The proceeds from this event help elders and disabled adults in nine cities and towns to live more independently at home, or in a setting of their choice. A much wider variety of services and assistance is available because of such generosity.
This year, our cruise was underwritten by our premier sponsor, Associated Home Care. We thank Mike Trigilio and his staff for their gift, and for their cheerful company on board. Additionally, Sidekim Foods, our Meals on Wheels provider, supplied food for the trip and came on the cruise with us as well. Koozies, to help keep guests’ drinks cold, were sponsored by ABC Home Healthcare Professionals and Aberdeen Home Care who also joined us for some smooth sailing.
Other corporate sponsors who deserve our thanks are: Action Inc., Bayada Home Health Care, Brightview Danvers, Bring Care Home, Cape Ann Savings Bank, Caregiver Homes, CleanPro, Elder Service Plan of the North Shore, Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley, First Ipswich Bank, Glovsky & Glovsky, Granite Savings Bank, Harborlight Community Partners, Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston, North Shore Elder Services, Right at Home, Rockport National Bank, Spectrum Adult Day Health Program, Bernard M. Sullivan Insurance, TLC at Home, United Healthcare Community Plan and W.B. Mason.
SeniorCare Executive Director, Scott Trenti, reiterated why it’s so important to recognize community sponsorship of such events. He said, “With the assistance of our sponsors and guests, we are able to supplement the services we provide to others and enrich the quality of their lives helping them to remain independent. For this reason, we are very grateful to all who support us.”
Thanks again to all who sponsored or attended.
