Letter: Applauding Judy Guinta

To the editor:

We should applaud the years of service that Judy Guinta has given to our city while working in the finance department of City Hall. Judy is now transitioning toward retirement and will be missed by many in Salem.

Also, what may be missed is the way Judy brightened up the holiday boxes bursting with flowers that adorn windows of City Hall. Decorations inside City Hall were another one of her touches, and the help she generously gave with Shirley’s garden located in the back of the building.

However, as a Salem Garden Club member, perhaps the fare of the holidays, as well as the cleaning of uptown, will continue as Judy, a member of Salem Garden Club, continues to be part of what makes Salem great — community and sharing.
