Letter: Thanks for well-tended garden

To the editor:

Salem has many people who care deeply about the city of Salem and do extraordinary things on a regular basis. One of them is Judy Giunta, who is a principal clerk in The City of Salem Finance Department.

Judy is a wonder with gardens and has adopted and been taking care of the garden on the Shirley Cervoni Walkway between Salem Five on Essex Street and my office at Cabot Money Management for many years. She does this before and after her office hours on her own time.

When you walk down Essex Street and notice the beautiful garden at the Shirley Cervoni Walkway, please know that this would not be possible without the care and love given to the garden by Judy Giunta. Thank you, Judy!
