Thanks: Volunteers helped immunize hundreds in Swampscott

To the editor:

The Swampscott Health Department would like to take this opportunity to publicly express our heartfelt appreciation for those who participated in our recent flu clinics.

The success of these clinics comes from the selfless service and commitment of our volunteers. With these clinics, approximately 300 residents were immunized against the influenza virus.

In addition to our volunteers, we would also like to express our gratitude to Rabbi HaLevi of the Congregation Shirat Hayam of the North Shore and Marilyn Hurwitz of the Swampscott Senior Center for the use of their accommodating facilities.

Thank you again for all you do. Our success depends on your continued assistance and support.

If any Swampscott resident would like to receive the flu vaccine, please contact the Swampscott Health Department at 781-596-8864 to schedule an appointment.
