To the editor:
The Friends of the Peabody Council on Aging is kicking off its membership drive and annual appeal for funds.
This letter is an open invitation to all who may have benefited from or have loved ones who have benefited from the educational and health services, programs and activities at the Peter A. Torigian Community Life Center.
To be a friend, you do not have to be a resident of Peabody. Your membership will assure that seniors will continue to have the resources necessary assist them. The Friends of the Peabody Council on Aging is a nonprofit organization, with no paid officers, whose purpose is to help supplement the budget of the Peabody Council on Aging. All membership donations are tax-deductible.
To become a Friend please send your request for an application form to Friends of the Peabody Council on Aging, 79 Central St., Peabody, MA 01960. We thank all those who made our 2011 year such a great success.
