Letter: Thank you from Butler family

To the editor:

On behalf of Frederick Butler and his family, we would like to express our gratitude to all who were responsible for the incredible ceremony highlighted by Fred receiving his high school diploma on March 4 at Beverly High School.

Thank you to U.S. Rep. John Tierney, state Rep. Jerry Parisella, state Sen. Joan Lovely, Mayor Bill Scanlon, Superintendent Marie Galinski, School Committee President Maria Decker and BHS Principal Sean Gallagher for your kind words and presentations.

A very special thank-you to City Council President Paul Guanci for pulling this event together and providing refreshments.

We also appreciate the participation of the BHS students.

This amazing honor will be something we will all remember and cherish for years to come. It was a very special day for the entire family!

Susan (Butler) Calabro, Frederick Butler and family
