Letter: Thank you, Bi-Peds

To the editor:

Now that spring seems to be here to stay and more folks will be out on the Danvers Rail Trail, it seems like a good time to belatedly thank all those folks who for years supported the Danvers Bi-Peds.

Although the organization has dissolved, its support will long be remembered, as it was funds from the Bi-Peds that paid for the flashing caution pedestrian lights installed last fall at the point where the trail crosses Poplar Street.

As former president of the organization, I wish to thank all of the past members and supporters.
